Stopped in here for late breakfast early lunch for a work meeting. Not local to the area so checked out Yelp reviews. Decided to try it out. Service was good, chicken fried steak was tasty. I'd come again.
I have eaten at the Mug for years, the food is excellent and service is very good. A wonderful locally owned business.
The Mug doesn't mess around with a Bloody Mary, as you can see! We let our waitress know we only had an hour to eat, and she was able to get us in and out seamlessly. Our Corned Beef Hash was delicious! The ambience was very cool and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend The Mug. We will be back! Thank you for the smiling faces and awesome experience.
The place is nice and decorated like a cabin and has a mountain mural on one of the walls. We had to wait a while for our waitress to take our order but she kept my coffee full and checked on us regularly after the food arrived. My Dad's French dip was good and his fries were crispy and good. My grilled cheese was tasty but you could tell it was cooked on an open flame and could see the grill marks. My only issue is that my hands were black after I ate. Other than that it was a great experience.
The young lady serving us was very nice, even came back to ask us how the meal was! I orderer, ! Yes the chicken fried steak, country potatoes, eggs over and biscuit and gravy, my wife ordered eggs scrambled avacodo, spinach with hash browns, and a biscuit. My chicken fried steak was excellent with the gravy smothering the top and the home potatoes cooked perfectly! Would have to put this breakfast right up in the top place in the area! My wife enjoyed her breakfast and said we would definitely come back! As soon as we left she got on her phone and called my sister in law to tell her how good the breakfast was!

We were so happy that we chose The Mug for a recent brunch! Our server Sarah was warm and friendly, obviously working hard to deliver great service. The food arrived and we were wowed by the quality and quantity! Even the fruit garnish was terrific! It's just a great place to relax and enjoy dining with family and friends.
I called for a pickup order. Wasn't too thrilled when the total came to $34 and some change. I guess it's the times? I walked up and saw they offered dog treats outside. So cute. I was greeted but a young lady, did not catch her name, but she was so sweet. I ordered her recommendation on the mimosa... pineapple coconut and grenadine. So so so good. I ordered a mimosa, country fried steak burrito with no eggs and hashbrowns inside and a coffee. Everything exceeded my expectations. After tipping, it came to about $38. If I'm in the area again, I will most definitely come back.
